We follow up with the next segment of Bill Moyer’s interview with Wendell Potter, former Vice President of Cigna. After he had attended a “health exposition” at a county fair and saw all the people who had come from literally hundreds of miles to see doctors and dentists, he began to change his mind about the state of American health care. As Vice President of Communications for Cigna, one of the leading health insurance firms, he was in the middle of the fight to keep public health care out of the market place. One way was to prevent the Michael Moore documentary “Sicko” from gaining wide distribution, even though Potter now says that Moore was on target.
